Where Bloox loses (yes, this is on the comparison page)

iOS 26 required for AI features. If you’re on iOS 16–25, the player works but Book Chat, live transcription, character identification, and recap summaries do not. BookPlayer or Prologue will run on older devices.
Audible import is v1. It currently supports US Audible accounts and imports one book at a time. The Audible app is still simpler if you want the fully supported Amazon experience.
No Audiobookshelf progress sync yet. Bloox can import from Audiobookshelf, but if you need real-time progress sync back to the server, ShelfPlayer or Plappa do that today; Bloox does not.
